Today’s Photo Of The Day is “A Little Affection” by Gene Putney. Location: Rocky Mountain National Park, Colorado.

“During a March snowstorm I came across this mule deer doe and her yearling as they were foraging for food,” explains Putney. “When they both took a short break from eating, I was able to capture this intimate moment of the mother giving a little affection.”
