Today’s Photo Of The Day is “Mallards at Bosque” by Dawn Wilson. Bosque del Apache National Wildlife Refuge, New Mexico.

“A flock of mallard ducks fly against the fall colors at Bosque del Apache National Wildlife Refuge,” describes Wilson. “This refuge, a popular spot for photographers in late fall and early winter, attracts thousands of migrating birds. Most photographers are there for the snow geese and sandhill cranes. Although I photograph those birds as well, I also enjoy the wide variety of waterfowl that enjoy the ponds set against the late-season fall colors.”
