Today’s Photo of the Day is “Cascade Layers” by David Connel. Location: North Cascades National Park, Washington.

“My wife and I did a four-day climb of Eldorado Peak,” explains Connel. “This is one of the images I took on our hike to our climbing base camp. This image was taken early in the morning while the fog was hanging low in the valleys to create the layered mountain look.”
