Today’s Photo Of The Day is “Eastern Sierra Sunrise” by Clayton Peoples. Location: Alabama Hills, California.
“The Alabama Hills of California offer surreal scenery in the shadow of the tallest peaks in the Sierra Nevada,” says Peoples. “It also boasts arches through which one can view these peaks. Although Mobius Arch is arguably more famous, Lathe Arch, pictured here, offers an interesting view of mountains. On this particular morning, the sunrise was quite colorful, which added to the already beautiful scene.”
