Today’s Photo Of The Day is “Snow Drift” by Garry Everett. Location: Horsetail Falls, Yosemite National Park, California.
“The conditions were less than ideal for Horsetail Falls this particular year [2019] due to the lack of snow in January and early February along with the cold weather for all four days I was in Yosemite, but there are worse places to hang out,” says Everett. “We did have a snow storm move through the previous night, dropping a lot of fresh powder in the higher elevations. Come that evening the wind picked up and was blowing the snow around, which was lit up by the setting sun. Although not a lot of water in the falls, it still made for some interesting photography.”
