Today’s Photo Of The Day is “Shibusa (Simplicity)” by Clayton Peoples. Location: Lake Yamanaka near Mount Fuji, Japan.

“I had never visited Japan before but definitely wanted to visit the Fuji Five Lakes area,” explains Peoples. “On this particular morning, I visited Lake Yamanaka in hopes of seeing Mount Fuji from its shore. Unfortunately, it was a very foggy morning, and views of Mount Fuji were at first obscured. But patience paid off—the fog eventually began to clear and Fuji came into view. Meanwhile, a solitary swan swam into the scene, adding to the simple beauty of the scene.”
