Today’s Photo Of The Day is “Grizzly on the Move” by David Connel. Location: Lamar Valley, Yellowstone National Park, Wyoming.

“I traveled to Yellowstone in August to photograph the park and its wildlife,” explains Connel. “I spent a lot of time in Lamar Valley because it has one of the largest concentrations of wildlife in the park. One evening before dusk, I pulled off at one of the scenic pullouts to watch some elk when this grizzly bear ambled up. The elk immediately left while the grizzly bear started foraging about. At one point, he made a short sprint, stopped and began foraging around again. I was able to capture a few frames of him running.”
