Happy 120th birthday, Yosemite National Park!
Today’s Photo Of The Day is “Yosemite Fall Oak and Granite” by Jeff Sullivan. Location: Yosemite National Park.
“You can pass a meadow and tree countless times over many years, but when the light and shadows are just right, the scene stops you in your tracks!” says Sullivan. “The deep canyon of Yosemite Valley creates a lot of shadows, and the moving sun spotlights subjects in the forest on the Valley floor. Arriving at locations at different times provides endless variations for using spotlighting or silhouetting to emphasize your subjects.”
Canon EOS 5D Mark IV. Exposure: 1/125 sec., f/9, ISO 200.
