Today’s Photo Of The Day is “Why You Don’t Want To Stand On A High, Exposed Surface During A Thunderstorm” by Laura Zirino. Location: Near Sedona, Arizona.

“This is a six-shot blend,” explains Zirino. “I thought I had deleted most of the shots from this trip because the single bolt shots looked feeble, but then I learned to blend them and they look much more impressive. Less than two minutes elapsed from the first bolt to the last.”
